7 weeks old!

It's been a busy week for the puppies. They had their first vet visit and shots, and a ride in the car in their crate. They still sleep all in a jumble, and are bigger and cuter every day. The firstborn and biggest puppy went to his new home and is doing very well.

They lick their lips when they eat!

There have been some more nice days outside to enjoy playing, and of course they always enjoy eating!

The Puppies Meet the Kitty

Today the kitty stopped avoiding the puppies,
 even though there are so many of them and
they move so fast!

I'm hoping this video is visible if I post it separately because they are so cute when they play!

The puppies all took another trip outside on the grass. This time they walked pretty well and even tried to run. Then it was time to get reweighed. They are getting too big for the scale!

The puppies are learning where to sleep (and keep clean), and where to go play. I hope you can see these guys in action on the videos.

Big Week and Food Fighting

They are starting out as pretty messy eaters and need their feet washed after every meal! They spend more time playing with each other, and cleaning the food off each other, too.

First Trip Outside

We went outside in the perfect 70 degree weather this afternoon. The puppies are now 22 days old. We only stayed out about 10 minutes, and they weren't too sure about walking on the grass since they're still pretty unsteady.

Walking skills

The puppies can stand up for a little now and are starting to walk - with a lot of falling over involved. They still like to curl up in a pile with a full belly and sleep. They like lots of attention and time being held. Soon they'll be able to play with toys.
